This 1968 Mustang is a completely custom build, taking it years ahead of where it began when it rolled off the factory floor.
This as an all steel and aluminum build featuring a custom aluminum from fascia, custom aluminum grill and functional air scoops cooling the brake rotors.
The power from the 5.4 liter supercharged V8 mated to a 6 speed transmission will be fed to the ground via a Ford 9 inch rear end with 3.78 gears hung from a Drew’s Garage 4 link rear suspension. The front end will be riding on a DOR set up. Exhaust will exit the engine through a set of Drew’s Garage hand fabricated long tube headers.
Fuel will be fed to the engine through stainless steel lines fed to the injectors from a stainless steel fuel tank via two fuel pumps. Braking will be provided by Willwood 6 piston calipers with 14 inch front rotors in the front and 13 inch rotors in the rear.
The interior will be full custom leather with LED lighting and brushed nickel accents. The wing windows have been deleted and the doors will feature one piece door glass. Dakota Digital gauges will be installed in the dashboard.
09/06/2018 – Update – The custom fabricated long tube headers are complete. They are temporarily installed on the 1969 so Drew Tennant can fabricate a custom stainless steel dual exhaust. With the car higher in the air on the lift, the custom fabricated Drew’s Garage four link rear suspension really stands out.
