This 1969 Camaro SS came into Drew’s Garage for a little bit of restoration, updates and modification.
The entire floor was replaced. To make room for some larger rear tires, DSE mini-tubs were installed along with a Drew’s Garage 4 link rear suspension. Drew’s garage also rebuilt the 12 bolt posi rear end. New tubular front control arms will be installed on the front end. This Camaro will be riding on QA1 high performance coil over shocks when it rolls out of the shop.
The fuel injected 565 horsepower engine is cooled by a Ron Davis radiator.
New gauges, center console and a new stereo system were installed in the interior. Climate control will be provided via a Vintage Air system spinning on a Billet Specialties Front Runner kit.
Update – 09/05/2018
The mocked up four link rear suspension has been removed from the Camaro ss while QA1 tubular front control arms and suspension are being installed. Custom frame rails have been fabricated and installed, making this original sub frame car into a full frame rigid body ride. The floor pans that were previously install can be seen better with the rear suspension out of the car.
