The 66 Chevy Nova came into Drew’s Garage riding on a base chassis. It left with much more than that.
Drew’s Garage installed a 350/350 horsepower GM crate engine attached to a Tremec 5 speed transmission. To put the power to the ground evenly, a Drew’s Garage 4 link rear suspension was fabricated and installed into the Nova.
In case of damage on launching, a drive shaft safety loop was also installed. The front end rides on a Chris Alston Chassiworks front suspension. A Chevrolet 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 gears spins the rear tires.
Braking is accomplished with Wilwood 6 piston calipers and 14″ front rotors on the front and 13″ rotors on the rear.
The interior was redone with Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air and full European leather seating and trim.
