This 1955 Chevy convertible is at Drew’s garage for a full rotisserie restoration. The above photo shows the body being fitted to a Roadster Shop chassis featuring independent rear suspension.
The body of the ’55 was completely built and welded at Drew’s Garage. Both front and rear bumpers were shaved to fit the body panels, providing a streamlined look.
It’s going to be be powered by a 525 horsepower LS3 spinning a 4L60-E transmission. The crank shaft will be spinning a Billet Specialties Front Runner kit. Stopping will come from Wilwood brakes on all four corners. This Chevy will be cooled by a Ron Davis radiator on the outside and Vintage Air on the inside.
The body will be painted two tone Aqua and Vanilla. The interior will be custom with full european leather, Cadillac CTS front seats, power windows, and a power top.
When the ’55 Chevy rolls out of Drew’s Garage it will be rolling on Foose wheels.
